Hotel Soleil Imlil has been run by Mohammed Aziam for the last 7 years. It was his father, Hajj Mohamed, who started the hotel in 1971 as a café with a few rooms for rent. Together with his caretaker Abdellatif, Mohamed makes sure that all guests have a wonderful stay in Imlil.

In 1995 the infamous flood destroyed half of the building, fortunately with no loss of life. In 1997 the process of rebuilding began which was finished in January 2008 with the opening of the final wing.

Hotel Soleil Imlil is well known for it's food, and the ability to cater for large numbers of people.
